Questions and statements in Spanish are the same except for their punctuation and voice inflection. NO WORDS like do or does or AM or IS are added.
There are 2 ways to talk to people in Spanish. What are they and when do you use each?
YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO: Greet people, introduce yourselves and others and talk about age, interests, where people are from what you are like ( describe yourself and others)
Talk about your school and activities and subject that you study, your teachers and what people are like.
Invite and respond to invitations to do things like ski or swim go to a party – including days and times to meet.
Talk about food, invite people to eat and drink with you.
Use words like want and can and plan, as well as all the forms of me gusta, etc. with the infinitive forms of the verb that tells what you want or plan or can or like To Do.
Express that you are going to do something and that you HAVE TO do something.
Express that you are doing something IN ORDER TO do something else.
…. Say , for example, “my cousin’s daughter” or “My friend’s house” ( ‘s possession)
Use correct punctuation. Ask a question in Spanish.
Talk about American culture and some things you know about the Spanish culture. Talk about how Americans with roots in other countries have some additional traditions and celebrations.
