While my parents were travelling in Mexico, they came across an ancient town where many people were getting married. It was an enormous gathering. They were in the square in front of the ancient church that was next to a beautiful big castle. My parents watched the weddings and discovered that it was a custom on this special holiday, the day of Saint Joseph. Everybody in the town believes that it is a lucky day ( a day with luck) to get married. The town had a big party in the castle after the weddings.

Pick a slip with a topic and with a partner have a conversation on the topic for 4-5 minutes. You may keep your conversation to the present or ask/tell about it in the past.

Last weekend we ate all the salad from the garden. ( reviews agreement between nouns and describing words.)
