Describe someone, yourself or another:
include these elements---- where they are from, their age, a physical description ( height, hair color, eyes, etc) and include a personality description like the adjectives from last fall -- talented, organized, artistic, etc....... Then say some activity that they do and when they do it ( a season or a month or los martes , for example. review that el sabado = on Saturday and los sabados = on Saturdays)
work with a partner -- take turns speaking and listening. Try to help your partner by making corrections when they get something wrong -- like the agreement between an noun and an adjective. Try to make the corrections in Spanish also -- try to speak only Spanish. For example, say.... "Tienes que usar talentosa, no talentoso, porque Emily es una chica."

Speaking assessement model after our block day activity -- given elements to incorporate, students will construct ex tempore a short speech.

PRESENTATION -- Madrid
Activities:
Listen and answer spontaneously questions : Donde estas? Porque estas in _____? Con quien....? Cuando estudias? etc....
Everybody get a LOTTO card and compose a little story about it.
Beauty and The Beast in Spanish. Write down the words and phrases that you hear and recognize. Replay scenes twice.

prepositions (before antes de) (despues de after), (durante - during),( tarde, mas tarde, late, later) (early - temprano,) (ahora -now)
add telling time and saying AT WHAT TIME something is scheduled. ( A que hora vamos? What time do we go?)
