HACE + Period of TIme + QUE + PRESENT TENSE ( it makes a period of time that something is happening)
Saber and Conocer -- both mean TO KNOW
Both are FIRST PERSON IRREGULARS (se' and conozco)
Saber means To know a fact, something, to know how ( how is built in. Do NOt add it) (We know how to ski. Sabemos esquiar.)
Conocer means to know a person, be familiar with a place or person, meet someone for the first time and recognize someone. Use the PERSONAL 'A' with conocer when your direct object is a person. ( We know Josh Gad. Conocemos a Josh Gad)

You can go to QUIZLET.com and join the class Arniotes Spanish 2B and play with what I made, or you can make your own and learn the words.
By the block day you will be expected to recognize the words' English meanings when you are given the Spanish. Shortly thereafter, you will have to produce the Spanish word when asked in English.

#Work with a partner and compose a sentence using our new words plus any other vocabulary we have learned since the beginning of Spanish 1. Say something about one of the last trips you took. Do not write, but just speak the sentences to each other. Listen to each other and repeat each other's sentences. Make corrections. Give the English meaning of your partner's sentence.
